May 1st – Content to Amplify
Americans shut it down for May Day, Trump regime still desperate, GOP caves on DHS funding
TL/DR; Amplify these narratives (content below):
Today, millions of Americans are causing a massive economic blackout in protest of the Trump regime.
The Trump regime is desperate to control the outcome of our elections.
Republicans cave and pass DHS funding, without ICE.
Happy May Day and Full Flower Moon! This is a huge moment for our movement y’all. It is the moment that we shift and escalate our tactics beyond protest to mass noncooperation. And it’s looking huge - over 4,000 events, 16 cities all in, at least 100,000 students walking out, dozens of school districts canceling classes, and countless workers striking to send one clear message: workers over billionaires.
At the same time, we must continue the drumbeat on the devastating Supreme Court’s Callais decision - a decision that rewound the clock on our progress by more than 60 years. They just undid the law that ended Jim Crow in a desperate effort to dilute Black political power, and we will not let this go. This fight is only getting started.
TOP THREE THINGS TO AMPLIFY
1. Today, millions of Americans are causing a massive economic blackout in protest of the Trump regime.
Y’all MAY DAY IS LIT 🔥 Millions of people are protesting on a Friday. Hundreds of thousands of teachers and students are skipping school. And what’s really exciting is that we are seeing a real escalation of tactics. People are shutting down roads and highways, staging sit-ins at corporations, and even completely blocking the entrance to the New York Stock Exchange!! This is a huge day for our movement and the kickoff to our ✨noncooperation era✨. Today and over the weekend, our primary job is to amplify and own the narrative from May Day. Be sure to like, share, and comment on every May Day post you see and share footage of crowds and signs so that we can flood the feeds today!

2. The Trump regime is desperate to control the outcome of our elections.
If it hasn’t been clear already, it should be clear after Callais: the Trump regime will do everything they can to hold onto power. Their power grab is taking many forms — from county investigations to state anti-voter legislation to rigging maps to now stripping away Black political power. We must expose their intentions and use every attack on our vote to build our movement.

3. Republicans cave and pass DHS funding, without ICE.
Celebrate every win! After a 75 day DHS shutdown, Republicans caved and passed DHS funding without any money for ICE. Think about that for a moment — Democrats held strong… and won. We love to see it.
